Around 7 p.m. ET starting Wednesday and ending Friday night, October 11, 2024 around 7 p.m. ET.
We are closely monitoring the path of Hurricane Milton and the storm’s impact to the Tampa area, where our TPA1 and TPA2 data centers are located. We have initiated our emergency action plan, which ensures diesel fuel delivery for as long as necessary and having staff in place for the duration of the storm.
Safety is our top priority, which is why we are restricting physical access to our TPA1 and TPA2 facilities for our colocation customers beginning at 12pm ET Tuesday. Access will be restored once the inclement weather has passed and conditions are safe, likely Thursday afternoon or Friday.
Our technical and facilities support teams will be as always on-site working around the clock during the storm to maintain the needs of our customers and facilities.
Lastly and very importantly, we always recommend that you perform regular backups of your data,
and this seems like a good time to suggest creating a new one.
We encourage you to follow GRUPO HOST on Twitter and/or Facebook, as it is the easiest way for us to provide updates to the masses during adverse events. You may also want to check out our Hurricane Milton knowledge base article which will remain updated throughout the storm.
While we do not anticipate any disruption to our phone or live chat services,
we ask that you use our trouble ticket system as your primary form of technical support Wednesday through Friday.
We appreciate the trust you place in us and are committed to helping you stay informed.
